Founded in 1895 in Austria, the company designs, manufactures, and sells high-quality crystals, genuine gemstones, and artificial stones, as well as finished products such as jewelry, fashion accessories, and lighting. Swarovski Crystal Business has been successfully led by family members for five generations, with a global presence of approximately 3,000 stores in 170 countries and over 27,000 employees, generating a revenue of around 2.7 billion euros in 2017. Together with its sister companies, Swarovski Optik (optical devices) and Tyrolit (abrasives), Swarovski Crystal Business forms the Swarovski Group. In 2017, the Group generated 3.5 billion euros in revenue with a total of over 32,000 employees.
